Welcome to 2postmarks, a blog of original, mailable art work created by two sisters. The idea is that one of us begins an image and the other alters or "finishes" the image. Hence, we both get to leave our mark. All of our art is postcard size, either roughly 4 x 6 or maxi size, 5 x 7.5. We will show items in their original form after they are first created, and then post the final image after it has been mailed to the other sibling and altered. All comments are welcome. Enjoy!

Behind the Posts
Brenna McCormick looks nothing like her younger sister, as can be testified to by Madrid Airport Security. She enjoys all things that have to do with the ocean, traveling with too many books in her carry-on, and has a slight obsession with paper, pens, and arcane etiquette. Her heroes are her siblings, Jim Henson, Dagny Taggart and Nancy Drew. In her fleeting moments of spare time she writes poetry and prose, practices yoga, and goes on many mini-adventures. She lives in Arlington, MA with her boyfriend and two cats. Summer is her favorite season.
Taryn McCormick spends her days having silly conversations with children. She enjoys long afternoon naps, a good cup of coffee, coloring books, and finding reasons to call herself a genius. She is inspired by sunny days and delicious desserts. On days off, she dreams of becoming a mermaid at Weeki Wachee Springs. She can be found singing along loudly to music in her car, cooking, dancing, and discussing peoples' fashion choices with her siblings. She lives, studies, and creates in Largo, FL.
